YOUR TRIP, MADE SIMPLE
September - March
Build your own budget: outbound and return fares, room rate × nights, meals, local transport or guide, and entry fees. Split only shared costs within a group. Current prices are not confirmed here; ask providers for a direct quote.
Ghoorism planning suggestion: one night and two days, excluding the journey to the region.
For a family trip, check beds, washrooms, travel breaks and meals before leaving. Keep fewer stops for children and older travelers. Confirm wheelchair or step-free access directly rather than assuming it is available.
BUILD YOUR ESTIMATE
Enter confirmed rates; these are not live prices. Room count assumes two people sharing.

GET TO KNOW THE PLACE
Sajek is renowned as the Queen of Hills in Bangladesh, located 1,800 feet above sea level with breath-taking views of sunrise and sunsets rolling over Indian border ridges.
Sajek is in Rangamati, but the usual road approach is through Khagrachhari, Dighinala and Baghaihat to Ruilui. Arrange the onward vehicle beforehand. Confirm access and movement rules for your actual travel day; do not rely on an old escort timetable.
September - March
Respect local communities. Carry out your rubbish, ask before taking portraits and use a local guide where appropriate. Check current weather and access before setting off.
Look for a resort or cottage around Ruilui. Ask about the view, occupancy, water, electricity and charging, meals, and the walk from the vehicle drop-off. Check recent room condition and cancellation terms directly.
Ask your accommodation about meals beforehand. For a group, agree meal times and quantities. Ask what local dishes are available and explain any allergies; seek permission before photographing people or their food.

Plan village walks and the walk toward Konglak separately. Respect vehicle seating limits. Confirm whether your vehicle quote includes both directions, waiting time and additional stops.
Use a local guide familiar with any trail beyond the village. Agree the route, walking time, group ability and turnaround point. Do not add restricted trails without current permission.
Village life around Ruilui and Konglak is part of the visit. Ask before photographing homes, shops or people. When buying local handmade items, ask who made them and what materials were used.
Arrange the return vehicle and your onward transport from Khagrachhari beforehand. Avoid a long trek on departure day and leave a buffer for road conditions or controlled movement.
Transport, opening times, permissions and conditions change. Confirm locally before travelling. Photography credits and licenses are linked above.
